Music and Dance
Always a firm favorite, our music and dance activities are a fantastic way to teach and entertain at the same time. We know that music and movement are very important in supporting a child’s mental and physical development, while keeping them engaged and interested.
Your child will be introduced to singing, making sounds,moving to exciting music and will enjoy playing a variety of musical games, including:
- Singing Along to a Selection of Children’s Songs.
- Playing Music Freeze-Where Children Freely Move When the Music Plays and Have to Freeze When the Music Stops.
- Playing With Simple Instruments and Exploring the Different Sounds They make.
- Singing Songs Such as "the Itsy Bitsy Spider” and Acting Out the Accompanying Hand Motions.
- Playing Tapping, Clapping and Snapping Games To Explore Rhythm and Pattern.
We make sure to incorporate a range of music-based activities into the schedule every day.
