We believe that early experiences with art are essential for all children, giving them a cognitive head start, strengthening their powers of imagination and sparking a lifelong love of creative pursuits. That’s why our childcare programs include art and crafts activities, giving each child the opportunity to experience different types of art, explore their own preferences and imaginations and develop their abilities. Tasks are specifically tailored to each age group and include:
Tiny Artists (Infants):
We provide infant learners with creative, caregiver-guided activities that sharpen their awareness and appreciation of art, such as:
- Viewing a Variety of Bright, Many-Hued and Detailed Images.
- Learning About Color and Shape.
- Finger Painting.
- Experimenting With Holding and Using Various Painting Tools Like Large Cotton Puffs and Sponges.
- An Introduction to Various Infant-Appropriate Handicrafts and Toys.
Budding Artists (Toddlers):
We give toddlers a deeper understanding, experience and appreciation of art through play-based learning activities that make use of the natural curiosity and developing motor skills for 2 and 3 year old kids.
Toddlers will enjoy getting their hands dirty and flexing their creativity with activities like:
- Painting With Wide and Large Brushes.
- Making Images With Markers and Crayons.
- Exploring Sculpting Through Playing With Colorful, Non-Toxic Molding Clay.
- Pointing Out Colors on The Color Wheel in Learning-Focused Games.
- Exploring Toddler-Appropriate Handicrafts and Playing With Puppets.
